Dat New New Posted 10.8.07

Whew, rough weekend.. My homie Cody aka Struggle Inc was in town setting up for the show he curated, "We're Rollin', they're Hatin'" at the Riviera gallery in Williamsburg, BK.

There was an all-star cast of artists and designers in attendance w/ the afterparty at our local "Cheers" sponsored by RE:UP Mag amongst others. Needless to say, it was a blowout.. literally. Both Lloydski and myself got flats on our respective rides and homie lost his wallet in the process.

Bummer on that tip but a blast otherwise, always a pleasure to see Cody, and everyone who attended. I believe Maya Hayuk gets the award for most amazing facial contortions whilst posing for pictures. Images from the evening coming soon (hopefully) at www.reupmag.com/blog.

The Works Posted 9.24.07

I guess i should premise my "new website" posting w/ a little info about what's in the pipeline. Foremost, the never-ending barrage of 12"'s, tees, and collateral for my label Fool's Gold. A-Trak's "Dirty South Dance" blends is in stores now with Cool Kid's "88" releasing soon, next is Sammy Bananas "High Top Fades", and the moment you've all been waiting for "Pro Nails" featuring Kanye West by everyone's favorite emcee, Kid Sister! We're also doing our first FG tour starting October 4th in Montreal. Make sure to join us on the 17th at Hiro Ballroom. See you there!

Next up i've got some apparel in the works for Upper Playground, Reason clothing, Goods/Manik Skateboards, a  collaboration w/ Grotesk and Cody Hudson for Zoo York and A-Trak, FUN tees for Studio B and last but certainly not least  some joints for perennial favorite Tank Theory.

That aside, some interesting web projects are in the works but i'll keep those hush for now.

More soon..

Dust La Rock website launch! Posted 9.20.07

Welcome all. It's been.. well it's been too long, but with a little help from my friends i've finally managed to put a new website together.

This site is the culmination of the last year's work and growth with a few "oldies but goodies" thrown in for good measure. This time around i decided to let the work speak for itself and do away w/ the fancy trappings. Just the raw, uncut..

I'll be updating content and adding new work on a regular basis as some exciting upcoming and ongoing projects are in the works so check back often.

Feel free to contact me at info@dustlarock.com. I look forward to your feedback, and work inquiries are always welcome.

Special shout to Andrew Mercando for his webmastery of this site, and a overwhelming thank you to all my friends, clients, and peers for their inspiration, patience, and support throughout the years.

Cheers.
